25 Names of Christ Celebration - Day 3
Updated: Dec 21, 2020
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11
This! This is the reason Christ took on flesh. This is why He came. To save us from our sin, from eternity in hell, from separation from the Father.
Because we are all sinners, lost and broken, atonement is required to pay for our sins. We could never fully do that. The Israelites offered sacrifices, but those sacrifices only provided temporary appeasement for their sin.
But our flesh will continue to fail us and sin will continue to occur, which means we would be stuck in a perpetual loop of sin and sacrifice.
The world needed a solution that would be everlasting. The world needed a Savior.
So, the Father sent His only Son to pay the price of our debt. He came not only for His beloved nation, Israel, but also to bring salvation to the gentiles!
Now all mankind can have freedom from sin and look forward to eternity in heaven with Him! That is why Christ came to earth--to be our Savior!
Salvation is free. We only need to believe on the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, our Savior confessing we are sinful and need salvation through Him. Have you accepted His free gift? If not, what are you waiting for?? He is waiting for you with open arms, ready to free you from the burden of sin!
If you've never confessed Christ Jesus as your Savior, we encourage you to do that today! If you have any questions, please email us at joyinfaithfulliving.com. We would love to speak to you about our Savior! If you have accepted Christ Jesus as your Savior, take time today to reflect on what that really means. Praise Him for this marvelous gift, for His love and mercy!
The world needed a Savior. Christ Jesus same to fulfill that need!
